2025 GLAAD Media Awards Nominations Nominees List

The 2025 GLAAD Media Awards nominations have been revealed.

Wicked, Queer, Love Lies Bleeding, Mean Girls and My Old Ass are among the nominees in the outstanding film — wide theatrical release category.

Joining those three are Cuckoo, Drive-Away Dolls and Problemista.

GLAAD also announced nominees in TV, music, journalism, Broadway and podcast categories.

In the TV categories, notable nominees include comedy nominees Abbott Elementary, Ghosts, Hacks, Loot, The Sex Lives of College Girls, Shrinking, Somebody Somewhere and What We Do in the Shadows; drama nominees 9-1-1: Lone Star, The Chi, Doctor Who, Found, Interview With the Vampire, Star Trek: Discovery and The Umbrella Academy; new series nominees Agatha All Along, Black Doves, Brilliant Minds, How to Die Alone, No Good Deed and Palm Royale; and limited or anthology series nominees Baby Reindeer, Becoming Karl Lagerfeld, Expats, Feud: Capote vs. The Swans, Get Millie Black, Mary & George, The New Look and Under the Bridge.

Music nominees include Adam Lambert, Billie Eilish, Elton John and Victoria Monét.

In a statement, GLAAD CEO Sarah Kate Ellis highlighted the importance of this content amid “attacks against LGBTQ people.”

“The GLAAD Media Awards were created nearly four decades ago to champion LGBTQ stories amid a deeply hostile and unsafe time for our community,” she said. “Today, this mission holds true and ever-more important as attacks against LGBTQ people are not only growing, but finding new avenues. Whether it’s rampant misinformation or defamation of transgender people, LGBTQ youth, or the shocking corporate rollback of policies and programs that keep LGBTQ people seen and safe in a workforce, what will always prevail is our truth and talent. This year’s nominees for the 36th GLAAD Media Awards represent the best of our vibrant community, spanning across all media, genres and mediums, and send a loud and global message to industry leaders that our stories are not only popular and entertaining, but necessary and culture-changing.”

The 36th annual GLAAD Media Awards are set to take place in Los Angeles on March 27.
